Name: Alecto Fenrir
Alias: The Scorpion
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Sexuality: Straight
Faceclaim: Scorpio Milo (Saint Seiya series)
Birth Date: October 29th
Occupation: Rogue Hunter/Criminal
Personality: Alecto used to be a gentle child, somewhat too naive for his own good but with his heart in the right place. He saw forth to seek justice and bring about an era of change so the society he loved so much could flourish even further and show its dominance through smarts; he followed in the footsteps of a promising female politician when he turned 16 and follosed her for years to come… until this woman betrayed not only him but also her entire race. Unwilling to believe at first she was the culprit he showed determination and resilience in learning more about the drama that toon place 15 years ago, but when met with the truth found himself utterly crushed. So much even that in the shock of it all Alecto’s personality took a grave change. In the first few years, finding himself responsible in a way, Alecto applied with the first hunters to learn their ways and stand against the threat of many cities. Wishing to redeem himself throughout it he withstood the harsh training and found himself becoming a skilled hunter in the process, choosing his golden armor and needle-like weapons in the hopes he could capture and study the beasts his former idol had released. He learnt much about them in the process and showed a lot of eagerness to learn about anything new, but the new types of monsters in particular; their weak spots, their strong attributes, food,... and started taking on more personal requests when he thought of having found a trail leading to the female politician who started it all. Yet he found something that would shape him to become the man he was today; human greed.
The ugliness and corrupted fate humans shared in their nature; towards the beasts he first captured and then killed… and to their own kin as well. Alecto grew depressed at first, struggled with the sight of how horrible people had become in times of hunger, of despair and how easily they corrupted for their own gain. He gradually grew to live amongst it, ignoring it at first but later on forcing himself to etch it into his mind. How these beasts she had released were no worse than the beasts humanity had become in his eyes. He started to loathe the richer populace at first, then the poor and eventually even his own hunter brethren, refusing to hunt with others from a certain point onward. After five years Alecto turned upon his own kind when he caught fellow hunters taking on a bribe of local farmers. He killed both of the hunters and the farmers without mercy, leaving one of the children as a witness to relay a single message to the world; he would not allow any traitors to remain. He would hunt down the monsters in humans and beasts alike, for whatever price he was given; as long as the corruption was proven. He then vanished from society’s radar; known by some, forgotten by many, but forever remembered by those he scarred.
Ever since he has been residing within the ruins of the monster-overrun walls of Lesha; ten years he has been using it as his place of operations. The place he called home. Not caring about human contact he even managed to tame some smaller beasts and now researches the newer types of monsters that have recently started appearing, fearing some corrupted humans have been experimenting yet again. He despises human contact and prefers to keep interaction with others to a mininum, believing that every single one of his race holds corruption within them that can be exploited. He loathes the weak and hates those who dare turn traitor, not being afraid to walk a dark path and erase said people from history. In battle he fights collected yet fierce, striking as true as he can and proving a fiercesome opponent to those unbaptised in constant combat. He shows little to no mercy and acts cold and distant whenever he can, not allowing anyone to get close to him easily. Deep inside he still cherishes a feeling of love and compassion, but burried it under a large pile of hatred from his past. Alecto only seems to show a more gentle side to the monsters he tamed or takes care of, and appears to grant some respect to those who take their time to understand the beasts they’re supposed to hunt. However one wrong move or word can make him change for the worse, as he’s easily swept away in his anger; it being both his strength and his weakness.
Appearance: A man of defined stature; refined yet hardened through the harsh lessons of mother nature and life itself. His body is toned, be it but slightly, and muscular despite its slender appearance. Standing at 1.80m and weighing about 75kg Alecto is considered a light-weight, but packs more of a punch in close-combat than one would account him for; be it less than those who honed their bodies for the sole purpose of close combat. His long, dark navy-blue hair holds shades of dark purple and his eyes alike are of an impure darker blue; deep and piercing. His face has lost its gentleness througout the years and shows a bitter, stern and serious visage instead, having not known the feeling of an actual laugh of pleasure in years. He wears several attires depending on his purpose for being somewhere; he has actual formal garments from his younger years as a hunter, consisting of a two-piece black suit and white shirt casually unbuttoned to make him look more of a casanova than a fearful criminal. Secondly he has a casual outfit consisting of dark jeans, combat boots or sneakers and a red tanktop, finished with a leather jacket for the perfect bad-boy style. Another outfit he has is a change of clothes comparable to rags these days, yet are more of an ancient civilization close to that of the greek populace in the past, consisting of a beige tunic, ditto-colored ¾ pants, sandal-like strapped boots, bandages around his arms and a long red scarf. He uses these clothes for reconnaissance in other cities or the underworld of more prominent cities, as to wander around without the authorities actually coming after him right away.
Last but not least there’s Alecto’s battle armor; an armor of a strong extra-terrestrial metal capable of taking a few monstrous hits without becoming dented, but with a shine as if of pure gold. A single tag he alone can activate is needed to bring this armor to life, if so to speak. The maker crafted Alecto’s armor in such a way that it could be assembled as a large scorpion statuette, which he carries around in a large golden box. Whenever wishing to don the armor he has to make contact between the tag and cloth box, whereafter it will open and disassemble the armor so it can immediately be donned by the wearer. It holds a large plated chestpiece made like the lower body of a scorpion that fits his torso perfectly, grieves and thigh protectors that wrap around his entire legs both front and back, gauntlets and upper arm protection and a pair of tassets that round off his entire waist. His helmet consists of two protruding horns on his forehead, with the helmet connecting from both sides on the back of his head, only covering the upper parts of his head, and run down in a long scorpion-fashioned tail. His armguards are broader than regular armguards should be, solely because they hold the reservoirs for the poison of his needle-like claws; a single three inch long nail on both his index fingers that can inject poison directly into a target’s bloodstream if needed, or throigh small wounds the daggerlike nails can inflict. Alecto spent the last 10 years perfecting his battle skills within this armor he dubbed the “Gold Cloth of Scorpio”, and can move around in it just as easily as others would in regular clothing.
